How long does a PMU appointment take?
Plan on about 2–3 hours for most services. That includes consultation, numbing, mapping or shape design, and the procedure itself. Ombré powder brows and lip blush are typically in this range. A perfecting session later is shorter, usually 1–1.5 hours. Please arrive a few minutes early so we can start on time.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Come with clean skin and no makeup in the treatment area. For 48–72 hours before your visit, avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and other blood-thinning supplements unless your doctor requires them. Pause retinol, acids, and strong exfoliants on that area for several days. Avoid sunburn, heavy caffeine if you bruise easily, and scheduling during your period if you are extra sensitive. If you have questions about medications or recent fillers/Botox, message us before you book.
How long do PMU results last?
Results are semi-permanent. Most clients keep a polished look for 1–3 years, depending on the service, skin type, sun exposure, and aftercare. Brows often fade sooner on oily skin; lips can hold color longer with good care. Color softens gradually rather than disappearing overnight. A touch-up at 4–6 weeks completes the initial process, and a yearly color refresh keeps the result looking fresh.
What is your no-show policy?
Your appointment time is reserved only for you. Please give at least 24–48 hours’ notice to reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows forfeit the booking deposit. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may require us to shorten or reschedule the service so the next client is not delayed. We understand emergencies — just contact us as soon as you can.
